The Admissions Office hosts a variety of programs throughout the school year to provide prospective parents an opportunity to learn more about The Albany Academies and our admissions process, including Open Houes, Information Sessions, Visiting Weeks and our "Lunch On Us" series.

All "Lunch On Us" events are held on Thursdays from noon to 1 p.m. in the AA Lower School Library.

ENTRANCE/SCHOLARSHIP EXAMS
An entrance exam is required for all students applying for grades 5 – 12. The Albany Academies offer several merit scholarships to students applying for 9th grade. To be eligible for the merit scholarship, students are required to take the scholarship exam. During the exam, parents will have the opportunity to tour campus and meet with our Admissions Team. The entrance exam is required for all students entering grades 5-12.
VISIT DAYS
Student visit days provide a prospective student with an opportunity to experience a day at The Albany Academies first hand – meeting our faculty and getting to know our students. All student assessments and interviews will take place during the student visit. Student visit days are scheduled on Wednesdays throughout the academic year. VISITING WEEKS
For convenience, student visit days are also scheduled during local public school vacations. Entrance exams can also be scheduled during this time. Visiting Weeks are held during public school vacations.
SPEND THE DAY AT THE ACADEMIES
We hope our web site has provided you with insightful information about The Albany Academies and its programs; however, nothing showcases the Academies experience better than a visit to our campuses.
We invite you to tour our campuses, spend time with one of our admission team members, and meet with our talented faculty. Your son or daughter can visit for the day and meet with current Academies students to experience first hand what a typical Academies day is like; this is a wonderful opportunity to get a real flavor for the full Academies experience.
