The Albany Academy Alumni Association's Annual Mid-Winter Dinner brought together more than 70 alumni on January 21 at Jack's Oyster House in Albany in support of the Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship.

Thomas Flynn '65, author of the new book Bikeman that details his experience from September 11, 2001 in an epic poem, served as the guest speaker and shared experiences from his life. He also discussed the influence longtime Academy educators Frank Nash (FN) and JB Colton had on his life, particularly as a journalist and author. Flynn told the audience that "the education that I received at the Academy was all that I needed."

Special thanks to Brad Rosenstein '79 for his generosity with underwriting the cost of dinner and to Paul Feeney ’81 for providing the invitations for the event.
