Andrew Safranko'91, P'23 '26

Andrew R. Safranko, Esq. is a graduate of Albany Academy (1991), Emory University, and Albany Law School. For 23 years, Andy has been in the private practice of Law. In 2012, Andy formed LaMarche Safranko Law PLLC which has become a nationally recognized law firm focusing on personal injury litigation, professional discipline, and criminal defense. Andy has been recognized as a Best Lawyers in America since 2010, as a Super Lawyer since 2013, and was the Best Lawyers in America Lawyer of the Year in 2020. Andy handles many high profile cases and has been recognized by the Troy Police Benevolent Association with their Presidents Award (2019) for his work in defending police officers and is the proud recipient of the Albany Academy Distinguished Alumni Award (2021), and the Sidney Albert Albany Jewish Community Center Pillars Award (2023). Andy is currently the chair of The Albany Academies Athletic Council.

Andy resides in North Bethlehem with his wife Julie (AAG 1995) and their children Alexis (AAG 2023) and Chad (AA 2026).
