Annual Fund

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The Academies’ Fund supports the highest needs of the school by providing
necessary and critical resources for the annual operating budget.

Our superb faculty, innovative programs, caring community, and remarkable range of opportunities
would not be possible without the generous support of our alumni, alumnae, parents, grandparents,
and our professional community.

The Academies' Fund succeeds only as a collective effort; every gift, regardless of size, makes a tangible difference.
Even a small increase in the percent of participation or the size of an average gift can have a big impact on our success.
In addition, outside funding sources look closely at our alumni and parent participation when reviewing our grant proposals.

  • Gifts of Securities

Gifts of stocks, bonds or other appreciated securities offer two tax advantages to many donors. Second, you qualify for a charitable deduction on your income tax, based on the value of the securities on the date you make the gift. Click here for instructions.
  • Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gifts are an easy way for donors to increase the impact on their personal contributions to The Albany Academies. Many corporations have matching gift programs that double or triple an individual’s gift. To find out if you are eligible for a matching gift from your employer, please contact your human resources office. Companies often match gifts of spouses and retirees. Just enclose your company’s matching gift form, and we will do the rest. You will receive full credit for both the original donation and the matching gift.

For assistance with your matching gift information, please contact Joanne DelCarpine in the Institutional Advancement Office at (518) 429-2391 or DelCarpineJ@albanyacademies.org.
  • Memorial and Honor Gifts
