Class of 1970 Pavilion
In celebration of its 50th reunion, The Albany Academy Class of 1970 made a pledge to raise $220,000
to fund the design and construction of a timber-framed pavilion for special events held on the campus. Two classmates stepped forward to contribute a total of up to $125,000, agreeing to match contributions dollar for dollar up to $125,000. We are proud to announce that the class exceeded its goal and raised more than $230,000!

outdoor classroom space for current students of The Albany Academies, a venue for annual events
such as Reunion and Commencement, and a place for summer campers to engage in camp activities outdoors.

The structure will be located on the north side of the main Albany Academy building near the track/football field.
When completed, it will accommodate 150 people seated around tables.
Construction on the structure has begun and the pavilion is expected to be completed by early 2022. Thank you to the many Class of 1970 members who have contributed and supported this project. All of us are very grateful!

Albany Academy breaks ground on new pavilion
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — After a year of setbacks, one local academy is breaking ground on a new project with a little help from some former graduates.
