Community

The Albany Academies have a small concentration of international students from across the world including Canada, China, Germany, Hungary, South Korea and more.
Our school offers numerous international student assemblies for our young men and women to discuss their cultural backgrounds to the student body, along with international clubs that provide support and camaraderie to students of various backgrounds.

This past school year, Albany Academy for Girls and The Albany Academy initiated cultural exchanges with sister schools in Cusco, Peru; Changsha, China; and Vannes, France to introduce our students to their peers abroad. In addition, our school offered a 10-day trip to China in March 2010 as part of an Albany Academies/Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts travel course. Students had the opportunity to explore a variety of international cities such as Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Italy, Greece, and Turkey.
