AA Form I and AAG Grade 7 Science Symposium

Our Form I and Grade Seven scientists presented their projects at the Science Symposium on Thursday, February 21.The Science Symposium teaches students about the Scientific Method, a scientist’s way of solving problems or answering questions. In December, students came up with their own ideas or questions they would like to investigate, and through a
combination of class time and work at home, designed an experiment to carry out. They collected data to analyze and form a conclusion. Topics ranged from hot air balloons to lie detector tests to hockey sticks. The students were judged by teachers from AA and AAG as well as some volunteer judges from the community, including alumni. The winners of the Science Symposium were recommended to move on to the the Joseph Henry Science Fair to be held on March 22 at The College of Saint Rose
