JV Baseball

The goal of the junior varsity baseball program at The Albany Academy is to promote lifelong participation in athletics and improve upon fundamental and advanced baseball skills. Student-athletes are provided with the tools to make them better players and increase their self-confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills. There are three levels of participation: a modified program for Seventh, Eighth & Ninth Grade students, a junior varsity program for Upper School students and a varsity program for accelerated Upper School students. The varsity head coach works with the coaches in the lower programs to create a common philosophy as well as the best possible system for individual placement on teams.
