  Bio

  Michael Zabinski '03 has been a faculty member at The Albany Academies since 2010. He also serves as an assistant coach for the AAG Varsity Basketball and AA Junior Varsity Baseball Teams. In addition, Mr. Zabinski is a practicing photographer. His experience as a student at The Albany Academy helped to shape him as a person academically, athletically and socially. Mr. Zabinski had the opportunity to foster leadership skills as captain of three varsity sports and Company C of the Battalion program at the time. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from SUNY Purchase College and served as captain of the college's baseball team for three years.
  
  Personal Philosophy Statement: "Whether students look to pursue a career in photography or as a recreational hobby, it is my goal to give them a better understanding of how photographic images affect and influence our daily lives. I encourage students to discover and enhance their artistic skills through photography by teaching the necessary technical skills of photo equipment and embracing thought outside of the box. My students are provided with the tools to create visual art through their mind's eye."
