As a student athlete at Hamilton College, Driggs played basketball and was a four-year starter, helping the team advance to the NCAA Tournament three times and reach the Sweet 16 twice. A two-year captain, he was a two-time All-UCAA selection while leading the nation in assists in 2000-01.
“Coach Driggs possesses a unique combination of a keen basketball mind, an upbeat energetic personality, and an intense and focused competitive drive,” said Paul Gallucci, director of athletics at The Albany Academy.” “He is looking forward to continuing the tradition and excellence that the program has built over the past 16 years at the Academies. The program will continue to play an Independent school schedule competing against some of the top teams in the country.”
