Albany Academy for Girls and The Albany Academy are Preschool-Grade 12 independent college-preparatory single-gender schools that have been producing leaders of the Capital Region, the State of New York, and the world at large for over 200 years. The Albany Academies follow an innovative model of single-gender education in the Lower and Middle Schools and through coordinate education in the Upper School in preparation for college and beyond.

The Albany Academies have been preparing students for college and leadership for over 200 years. In that time the definition of “preparatory” has changed and will continue to change.
