Frank Blake '96

Frank is a senior executive with The Home Depot as well as a principal partner in a privately-held business investment fund. After graduation, Frank attended Clemson University, where he remains involved with their entrepreneurship program, and served as an Army Captain in Iraq, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. Frank then developed and sold several highly profitable businesses while also building his career at The Home Depot. Perhaps most impressive to our students, Frank was also a professional foosball player, as he ably demonstrated in the senior lounge. Mr. Blake was invited back to the Academies to speak about both entrepreneurship and leadership, and he generously shared some of his perspectives on both topics before engaging students in a question and answer session.
Frank’s visit was a great “proof of concept” event as we develop a program to regularly connect students to our very accomplished alumnae and alumni.
