Two Academy Students are National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalists
Last year, 1.6 million high school juniors entered the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2017 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. On Wednesday, September 12, Zachary ’19 and Max ’19 were among the 16,000 Semifinalists named to the 64th annual National Merit Scholarship Program, representing less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors. Zachary ‘19 and Max ’19 will be competing against other talented high school seniors for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $31 million. The Albany Academies are so proud of Zachary ’19 and Max ‘19, and wish them both the best in this journey!
