Academy 9 - 0 Ravena

On a beautiful summer-like evening on Academy Road, the Cadets easily handled a transitioning Ravena team. It was senior night and the celebratory feel was in the air. Senior captain and leading scorer Haroon Pasha had 3 goals, but fellow captain Rory McGuire led the way with his brilliant service balls - earning 3 helpers and a goal for 4 points on the night. Will Hayes played well, as usual, around the net - collecting two easy goals and assisting on another. Overall 6 different Cadets found the net and 5 different players had an assist. Academy shout outs to Theo Haworth, Kasper Ostovar, and Lucio Maruca on their first goals of the season - the latter two the first of their varsity careers. Another shout out to Ravena captains Andrew Ginder and youngster Mason Brozowski - talented players who made several nice drives towards the Academy net and set different teammates up for nice scoring chances. The Indians never folded - communicating loudly and positively on the pitch, getting 2 or 3 of their best scoring chances in the waning seconds.
