Academy 5 - 2 South Glens Falls

The Cadets traveled to South Glens Falls finally with weather that felt like soccer should be played in. Academy was sharp from the start - converting three goals quickly - all from nifty assists by Haroon Pasha. South High got on the board with a great shot from thirty yards out that slipped through the outreached arms of Ami Drucker. That's where the half ended. The Black Bears showed a lot of resolve and came out hard to start the second half. They took advantage of an Academy blunder on a free kick - quickly getting down the field and putting a ball into the corner of the net. Academy was able to regain its composure after that - with two sure-footed strikes from Charlie Xue. Pasha showed a lot of talent today - registering 4 assists to power a crisp Cadets squad as they turn around and play at Cobleskill on Tuesday.
